For Sale here is my 1968 Dodge Superbee.
I've owned this car for 15 years and have completed an extensive restoration in that time.
This car is a real Superbee,a genuine factory item. Not a clone or tribute.
The body was restored and painted several years ago and is painted in glasurit two pak in a color very close to the original QQ1 bright blue metallic.the paint is just gorgeous and the car won 'best paint' at it's first show. The stainless trim was all polished, the bumpers sent to the states for chroming and N.O.S hood trims purchased. The car is 'stripe delete' optioned so it does not carry the characteristic mopar bumble bee stripe.
The interior is all new and was sourced from Legendary Interiors in the states. This was a special order item as the car has the optional hi-grade interior which is two-tone.Door panels and roof lining and carpet to match. All the gauges are date coded to the car and work correctly including the tic-toc-tach.All new wiring harnesses. The seat belts are also color coded and are complete with date coded tags. The car also has a working A.M. radio.
The engine is a date correct 383 and was built about 3 years ago to stock hp383 spec. Carb is an edelbrock 625avs and the exhaust is a combination of Year One repro cast manifolds breathing thru a 3inch T.T.I. exhaust with flowmaster mufflers.Ignition is Chrysler electronic.
Transmission is numbers matching and is stock 727.The convertor is and 11 inch unit.
The axle features a Sure-Grip and is powder coated and detailed with the original factory markings.
The original heavy duty suspension has been upgraded further with the addition of Mopar XHD torsion bars, retempered leaf springs and a hotchkis front anti-roll bar.Power Disc brakes at the front.Heavy duty drums on the rear.Power steering.
15inch Magnum road wheels complete the package.
There's a selection of spares to go with the car which will include some body color steel wheels, various bits of trim and a pair of the very rare pop out rear side glass.
In summary this is a well sorted and beautifully restored, rare and desirable Mopar.
Engine, trans and axle oil all fresh.
