1967 Mecedes Benz 230SL

Between 1963 and 1967 Mercedes produced 19,831 230 SL models, of those 4752 were built for the US market. 1967 was a transition year in which only 185 were produced, this car is number 184, next to the last 230 to come off the assembly line, that has to add a certain amount of rarity and value to the vehicle, plus it is a US spec car. Car has had three owners in its lifetime, and we have an ad from 2004 where the 2nd owner was selling the car after owning it for 35 years and presenting it with 22,000 original miles, car now has 25,000 miles that we believe to be correct, PA.title miles exempt. We have a print out (see photo) of the vehicle data card showing options such as hardtop and soft top, power steering, Sideview mirror, white wall tires, also showing the production number of 184. Somewhere between the time when the second owner sold it and now the car went through a extensive refurbishing process, original color as noted on the build sheet was light beige, car was re-sprayed using an original, much more attractive, navy blue color. We have gone through the car to ensure that it runs and drives beautifully, all systems, lights, horn, electrical systems, brakes, function as they should
