1968 Datsun Roadster 2000 SRL

1968 Datsun Roadster 2000 in original condition. Purchased from owner whose father was a Datsun Mechanic and had garaged since 1997, he installed a low mile engine 10 years ago. Son was selling and to get ready he drained and cleaned the gas tank, put in some new gas and car started right up. Front brakes were locked up so he installed new Volvo brake calipers and pads with rotors. Paint is a "rattle can" paint job; looks good in pictures and from 10 feet and certainly better than nothing but don't expect anything than a paint job done with a spray can.

You will not find any rust on the car; the trunk, floor boards, rockers and fenders are clean - see pictures. Grille does have dent but i am not sure it is original; no accidents but there is some body work done on area around headlights.

5-speed transmission shifts well, clutch feels good, suspension and drive train is good. Car has a top but it is not in great shape but you have the frame; also I have the chrome top fittings that attach to the car.
