1960 Cadillac Sedan Deville (Nadine)
I have owned the car for several years now and have invested a whole lot more into her than the asking price,
I guess the best way to describe the car is with its pros and cons
The valve covers in the pics are included in the sale of the car.
Pros (the good bits)
The engine recently underwent a freshen up with a new cam, lifters, rockers, a hone and new rings/bearings.
Rebuilt trans about 5 years ago by pro automatics.
Full red leather interior
Bare metal respray about 7 years ago
Radial white wall tyres
All brakes relined with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake drums and bearings about 2 years ago
custom console with a Bluetooth, usb/mp3 stereo unit
Wool carpets (not in the car at the moment)
Solid floors, no rust
Several boxes of parts and spares including the original AC and some options that came with the car
Genuine 3rd owner, matching numbers car, with books
Very reliable car I used to use as a daily driver
I am sure there is more I may have missed
The cons (not so good bits)
Although the car was fully resprayed, it did have to live outside for a while and that has started to show. There is some small rusty bits that need some TLC, the worst of which is the RH dog leg, have started to make a replacement panel which will help in repairing this area, also the back seat and RH door trim have been removed during this work but it is all still there.
The rear of the interior needs putting back in whether the dog leg is repaired or not
the RHF door glass is cracked (see pic)
Missing RH exterior mirror
Electric windows work but are a bit slow at times
Vent windows sealed shut but the motors do work, they just need new seals
Could do with a wheel alignment
Brakes need adjusting as they pull a little
the boot extension panel was removed for rust repairs and is currently in spray putty, ready to be sanded, painted and installed (see pic)
Thank you for watching.
