Over the past year, the car has undergone a significant refurbishment making it a reliable and highly usable classic. Additionally, it has the more desirable manual gearbox. Turn the key and drive!
The body is in excellent condition with no dings or damage. Both front and rear fascias are in great condition (front was just repainted recently). The black louvered engine cover is in good condition but with a couple of tiny chips in the paint.
The interior is in excellent condition, the only minor item being a small section of the interior windshield surround having expanded causing a small bulge of the leather at the bottom of the windshield.
The following work has been done to the car:
1. Full fuel system refurbishment including new fuel pump, new fuel sender, new fuel hoses, new fuel accumulator, new seals in the fuel distributor and a new fuel filter, with non-return fuel line valve added
2. Fluids flushed and replaced: engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid
3. Brake hoses replaced with new braided stainless steel hoses and brake rotors resurfaced
4. New master cylinder
5. New steering column bushing
6. Electrical system examined and tested
7. Front fascia freshly painted and new headlights installed
Overall the car drives beautifully and the engine pulls strong. Throughout it's life it has had all the major 'Delorean' weaknesses fixed such as rear engine seal, clutch disc and pressure plate, door and hood shocks.
