2000 Bentley Arnage Red Label
Rear wheel drive luxury sedan. Curb weight 5556 lbs. The car is luxurious throughout. Picture driving your living room with the thrust of a jet plane. Loaded.
The Red Label has the V8 Rolls Royce engine (which had been in production some years), with turbo charger added. This is a fast and powerful car. Named after the “Arnage” which were some of the trickiest turns on the leMans race course.
Top speed: 249 km/h / 155 mph (electronically governed)
0-60 mph (s): 5.9
0-100 km/h (s): 6.3
Displacement: 6750 cm3 / 411.9 cui
Horsepower net: 298 kW / 405 PS / 400 hp (ECE)/ 4000
The car was hit in the rear and repaired by a quality shop in California, long before I bought it. I have limited history, but drive the car regularly and have no problems, no pulling, no alignment issues, no nothing at any speed. Engine and transmission run well.
The leather interior is very nice. Woodwork is beautiful, with some minor cracks in the varnish as you would expect for the age of vehicle. Radio works, nav is out of date, but lights up and seems to work (I use waze and my cell phone). I have a remote for the nav.
Tires are in OK condition for daily use.
New battery. Recent fluid changes. Start and drive.
Reason for selling is that I have too many toys, too few garage slots and something has to go. This car is an attention getter and you will be noticed in any parking lot, gas station, even driving down the road.
I tried to show a lot of shots of the body to allow close inspection. I frankly could not tell where the car had been hit, and had a Rolls specialty mechanic look it over for the quality of the repairs. He told me it was a well done repair, and that all suspension was in excellent condition. No leaks in the hydraulic suspension.
Air works, as do most everything. Problems that will need addressing include: Crack in drivers side tail light lens, One side marker light (front passenger side) needs new lens, couple half inch scratches in body (see photos), Tool kit holder is missing, but I have jack, lug wrench, specialty tools etc in the trunk. Steering wheel cover need attention. One rear seat belt buckle does not click every time and will need repair.
Odometer was replaced at time of repairs at 45,244. New odometer is at 14,405 and is noted as actual on rebuilt title.
