This Jeep started life as a mail carrier, so it is a right-hand drive (RHD). It was surprisingly easy to get used to and I absolutely love it except for going thru the Whataburger drive-thru. The miles are high, but the engine was just rebuilt ~5k miles ago, and the Automatic Transmission is new (and specially for RHD) with less than 5K miles on it and a remaining 3 year warranty! Along with the complete replacement of all control arms, shocks, coils etc - it is practically a new Jeep.
I built her as a LCG rig with a brand new top of the line suspension by Metalcloak, Metalcloak armor rails, and the ever desirable Metalcloak Overline Fender system which gives unprecedented articulation and clearance without chopping up your rig.
This is a great rig - her suspension is tight, tires are new, and is dead nuts reliable. Fine for every day use on the road and awesome for the trails. Has a hard top and an AC that blows cold and heater that blows hot.
If you want to poke around the Metalcloak website you can get more details on the suspension, armor, and fenders. This is the list of upgrades that she has:
* Rebuilt Engine
* New Automatic Transmission
* Metalcloak Game Changer Suspension installed by 4x4 Source in San Antonio
* Slip Yoke Eliminator and New Driveshaft to match the suspension
* Tummy Tuck and replacement of the stock belly pan with lo profile with skid plate
* Dana 44 rear axle with limited slip differential
* New heavy duty steering linkage
* Quick disconnect sway bar for more effective rock crawling
* NEW 37 inch Tires
* Metalcloak Overline Fenders
* Metalcloak rockrails and armor
**Also have a spare set of 33 inch tires on rims
