This is one of the greatest Japanese sports cars of all times!
This car was made in November 1970, therefore it is one of the very rare Series I cars. It comes with a lot of paperwork, such as the service booklet, warranty card, owner's manual and registration dating back to its original sale.
This car is essentially a time capsule. I believe it is all original other than the carpet. It has been painted one time to match the original br green color, but now the clear coat is failing and starting to peel.
The dash pad has several cracks in it. I have a plastic dash cover that goes with the car. The car also has one rock chip in the front windshield. All of the floor boards are in great shape. I have yet to find any rust holes on the car at all, which is extremely rare. It has a matching numbers motor and 4 speed transmission. The car runs well, but was not driven much. It has always been garage-kept and not driven in the rain. This car is a true driver's car. One couldn't have more fun!
I purchased this car for a restoration project and sadly can't find the time. I have a very rare 2400 valve cover that was only offered in the earliest models of 240Zs and D style wheels/hubcaps that could go with the car if interested. Most of the original wheels and hubcaps were taken off by dealers, so the public never really had the chance to get them. So it is very unusual to see them on these Datsuns.
