1942 Harley-Davidson WL Bobber

This is a rare WL Harley Davidson. There were only 143 WL's produced in 1942 on account of the factory conversion over to the WLA (army version) due to the USA's entry into WWII after Pearl Harbor. It is a 3 speed hand shift and foot clutch. All OEM, except for paint. Many of the American GI's coming home after the war turned WL's and WLA's into bobbers to reduce weight and thus increase speed. This WL was one of them.
The bike starts and runs perfectly. Everything on the bike functions as it should.
