I have owned this Vincent since 1967. It is the last of six Vincents I have owned and the last motorcycle from my collection of British bikes which included Ariels, Triumphs, BSA, etc. I am now almost 84 years old, it's time to let someone else appreciate it. It is a series C with a 1955 D engine. Modifications include the following:
*Conversion to 12v w/ 150 Watt Alton generator
*Boyer Bransden electronic ignition
*Brembo hydraulic rear disc brake (Ducati)
*genuine leather covered seat
* 5 inch Smiths tachometer (matches speedometer)
*Ducati clutch
* Amal high performance Mark II carburetors
It comes with original underseat tool tray and tools. Also some miscellaneous spares, books, manuals, etc.
It is in running condition. To my knowledge the engine has never been torn down.
