Highly original and rare 2 Door 1954 Ford Ranch Wagon in very good condition. A one family Southern Californian car since purchased new in 1954 and passed down from grandfather to grandson. Runs and drives great! Complete with old school black 6 digit CA license plates, owner's manual and even the original door key. 239ci y-block V8 and Fordomatic transmission. Transmission was recently rebuilt within the past year and a half. Paint and body work is about 6 years old and is a gorgeous dark blue paint job that presents great with some minor blemishes. Gray tweed and vinyl hot rod tuck and roll interior looks great. 12 volt battery and alternator conversion. This is the quintessential California surf wagon!
The few minor cosmetic issues the car does have consist of some sun spotting in the paint on the roof of the car and above the rear taillights and a burn spot in the carpeting on the floor of the rear passenger side of the vehicle caused by an exhaust leak that has since been repaired. All very minimal and easily correctable. The speedometer/ odometer and fuel gauge on the car also stopped working about a year ago as well and I cannot verify the actual mileage. All in all very minor issues for a 70 year old classic. Fully restored these wagons are worth north of $30k.
Overall this is a really cool American Classic Wagon in great condition all around. Awesome potential and/or weekend cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage Classic at a great price.
