I bought it last summer with the intention of completing a full camper conversion with pop top roof. I have owned custom fitted Sportsmobiles in the past, but never owned a van that has attracted so much attention and had so many people want to stop, chat and look at it. I have only put just over 2k miles on the van since buying it, but those miles took us to some great camping and locations.
The van had only one previous owner before me and it was customized as a site survey lab/office. I have since removed the lab/office parts and it is ready to be used or converted. It spent its life in Texas and obviously had a very easy one on flat land.
The interior roof and walls are paneled and insulated. The paneling and insulation was already fitted in the van and I was going to keep it. We have been using it to camp in over the past 8 months or so and it has worked out great. We have camped in very low temps and we were comfortable.
It is a Quigley 4x4 conversion and it is in great shape all round. It's a real head turner. Super clean underneath, inside and out. It drives and tracks great.
I recently had a new Max Air Delux ceiling fan fitted that can be run in both directions, drawing air in or out. The fan has 10 speeds and is almost silent. It is the most powerful RV fan and the only on the market with a permanent rain shield.
