1956 Airstream Overlander Camper Trailer

This 1956 Airstream Overlander has been beautifully restored keeping most of the original wood cabinetry. This model is a 13 panel Ohio built Airstream and is collectible and extremely hard to find with the original interior intact. The exterior has been painstakingly polished to a mirror finish and has new sealant around windows and roof vents, there are no leaks. All new marker lights and tail lights installed. 100% new professionally installed plumbing set up to be used with a portable holding tank under the unit or tied into a Septic system, the toilet is routed separately from the gray water making it easy to tie together or run gray water into a french drain preventing the black water tank from filling too fast. Other new plumbing components include; an on demand water heater, new shower kitchen and bathroom faucets, all new pecs water lines, all new drain lines, comes with in line backflow protector, and pressure regulator. 100% new electrical wiring and components installed by an extremely meticulous certified electrician including; metal clad cable to prevent damage common in trailer wiring, hard wired 30 Amp shore power cable, breaker panel, new extremely nice retro fridge with separate freezer compartment, all new LED lights with different tone options, dimmable LED living room light, four USB charging ports, all new outlets including GFCI protected outlets in the bathroom and kitchen, new wall mounted heater with built in thermostat.

We wanted to bring some of the beauty of the polished exterior to the interior so we polished and installed an aluminum backsplash in the kitchen and other polished accent panels in the living room and bedroom making the interior spacious and clean with a unique modernized vintage feel. The bathroom features a brushed aluminum finish on the fully rebuilt vanity and cabinet door to the right of the new ceramic toilet. We were able to restore and use the original bathroom sink and countertop trim. Round skylights were installed in all three of the roof vent covers, two of them open and one is fixed shut. The interior and exterior of all of the built-in cabinetry has been newly resealed. The cabinet and drawer bottoms have been lined with foam sheeting to prevent things from shifting while moving. All new VCT flooring has been installed, approximately ? of the subfloor has been fully replaced with new insulation under that portion. The original enamel coated gas stove is in excellent condition. We are currently finishing the installation of a propane tank rack on the tongue with a new regulator and two new propane tanks that will be included in the price. The frame is solid and has been professionally repaired including an all new tongue. The marker lights and tail lights aren't connected to the wiring harness yet, but the trailer comes with wireless magnetic tow lights that are easily attached to the rear bumper and has signal brake and run lights. A full shell off restoration was not performed. The majority of the subfloor is in excellent condition and there are no bad odors or leaks. There are imperfections in the exterior and interior, but overall this trailer is absolutely gorgeous. The hubs have been removed to inspect and grease the bearings, brand new tires and wheels installed ready to pull across the country.
