This is my '69 Elan +2. It is NOT running now due to the Twin Cam needing a water pump. I had it running two years ago and it has been in my garage since. It was a great car and ran so nicely before the dreaded water pump failure. I tried to fix the water pump two years ago and gave up. It has a clear title.
From the pictures, you will see a lot of upgrades:
Interior was redone 5 years ago with a new dash and headliner.
Colin Chapman engraved steering wheel
Alloy fuel tank
Mikuni carbs (Strombergs will be included)
Headers from RD Enterprises in Pennslyvania
Alternator conversion (also from RD Ent)
High Volume oil pump included (but not yet installed also from RD Enterprises)
COOLEX alloy radiator with fan (the same Jay Leno uses)
Spare twin cam head included (Stromburg) purchased from a retired vintage racer he kept as a spare
Pop-Up headlights controlled with a Toyota Celica setup
Stainless stock exhaust
Rear Ford Motor differential has been rebuilt along with the stiffening bracket from Dave Bean
3 twin cam cylinders were about 170lbs with one lower around 140lbs
Oil pressure was decent but can't remember the number
Front Suspension all rebuilt with polyurethane bushings
Front Brakes setup with Wilwoods. I removed the brake boosters after this upgrade
Front Rotors (stock Triumph GT6)
Rear Suspension rebuilt with the CV AXLE upgrade from Dave Bean Engineering
Rear Brakes are stock but will need to be refreshed
13" stock steel wheels that are powder coated black
NEGATIVES:
Body is having the usual fiber glass cracks
Door window regulators need replaced (Both windows are stuck down now)
Driver's side door chrome trim is off but will be in the trunk (needs clips)
Water Pump.
