1966 Volkswagen Buggy Convertible Manual 1.6L

Thank you for taking the time to look at my 1966 Volkswagen buggy. This is not some hobbled together kit car. This was built by Volkswagen master mechanic in Wisconsin. It has a custom square tube frame built by a professional chassis manufacturer. It has new floor pans and new transmission tunnel with no rust. It has been garage it’s entire life. The engine has been rebuilt and is a 1600 cc. The transmission is non-synchromesh highway flyer. You can drive the car with no hands at 60 mph. It tracks perfectly straight. The brakes, turn signals, headlights, tail lights, horn all work perfectly. The rearview mirror is included, but not mounted. The tires are new. It has an original Mooneyes foot print gas pedal. A real wood steering wheel.
I would say that the car is an 8 out of 10. The seats are in great shape. Basically everything is wonderful. I would say that it needs absolutely nothing to drive daily and enjoy.
