Restored 1966 Mercury Comet "202" 2 door Sedan. Very rare, Y code, 390 big block V8 car. Original 390 engine equipped with Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, performance camshaft and aluminum heads. Runs absolutely fantastic, drives excellent. Toploader 4 speed manual transmission. Ford 9" rear end. Disc brake conversion on front. Aftermarket air-conditioning blows ice cold. Retro-style AM/FM radio. Cruise control has been added. Vintage-style Moon tachometer. Factory gauge package with voltmeter, oil psi and coolant temp gauges. Aluminum radiator. Dual exhaust with long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers. New white letter tires on new 15" chrome Rev wheels. Original color, code V, Emberglow paint. Paint is nice. Vinyl top is excellent. Body is super straight and extremely solid - zero rust. Underside is really nice, clean and rust-free. The factory black interior is very nice - no issues. Everything on this car works as you'd expect. It runs perfect, drives fantastic, stops great. No leaks anywhere at all, does not drip any fluids. It goes down the freeway very well and can sit and idle in traffic with the A/C on and not overheat.
