For sale this 1964 VW Beetle Convertible 1200 , an incredible driver that runs, shifts, brakes and accelerates with authority. It is still a nimble little car and with the top down it offers an incredible free-spirit feeling, made only more enjoyable by the wind rushing past you. Its four-cylinder engine (1200 cc) has a magnesium crank case and aluminum cylinder heads and has been serviced regularly.
The paint and body is in great shape. There are no signs of serious rust either, and the exterior trim, seals and chrome bumpers are intact and in good to excellent condition. The black convertible top is fully operational and latches tight for a weather-safe fit. It takes only seconds to get the top up or down. Check out the undercarriage photo... super clean.
The interior seating and door panels were well maintained and the carpeting is in good condition. All the gauges, knobs and instrumentation look factory stock and original to the car, including the factory steering wheel with the Wolfsburg logo, and the Wolfsburg adorned VW seat belts.
All lighting and turn signals are operational. There is a new carpet liner in the truck as well as newer tires on factory correct wheels with classic VW hubcaps.
Overall, this classic VW Bug Convertible has been cared for through the years, and it continues to turn heads on any street.
