1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible in Triple White.
California car in very good original rust-free condition. Very well maintained by a VW parts vendor/restorer company owner as my personal vehicle. The Beetle presents and drives very well. The following has been completed within the last 300 miles:
Engine and transmission pulled, short block and heads verified in spec, New 88 mm pistons/cylinders/rings installed. New engine seal kit installed. Engine runs very strong, smooth, and quiet.
Transmission seals replaced where applicable, Redline MT-90 synthetic gear oil installed. Shifts smooth and quiet through all gears.
K&N High flow air filter installed
New catalytic converter installed
Petronix Electronic ignition installed (original points included as a backup)
Brad Penn Zinc-additive engine oil used (just replaced 7/11/20, 0 miles)
Fuel lines replaced, fuel injectors rebuilt and tuned (specs provided)
New battery installed
New windshield seal (with factory style chrome trim), trunk seal, engine hatch seal
New brake shoes
New Sony USB stereo
Many other smaller things done such as new clutch cable, accel cable, and other appropriate new parts done in accordance with engine and transmission removal and replacement.
Clean title.
