Reluctantly for sale to a good home: 1961 Citroen ID 19, 56k Original Miles. A true survivor and great driver. Absolutely rust free car. 56k original miles and original paint. Well maintained with new stainless steel exhaust system and frequent fluid changes. Regularly driven. Ready to drive anywhere and still cruises comfortably at 75 mph, shows 40 psi + of oil pressure while underway and constant temperature even when driven in 100 degree heat. One of a kind with great patina, but time to sell as I have more cars than time or space and need to fund other endeavors. I am not desperate to sell but will accept reasonable offers.
Work Performed: Fresh engine and transmission oil this month, valve adjustment, suspension and axle lube, fuel filter, air filter, right front wheel bearing, fresh coolant, brake flush with Castrol LMA, suspension flush with Castrol and a bit of castor oil, carburetor service and tune, new Champion spark plugs, ignition timing verified, wheel alignment checked and adjusted.
Condition: Excellent driver as-is. Paint is original and therefore has some wear and fading on the front fenders, minor dings and scratches here and there. Rear brake shoes squeak a bit due to age. Interior is in nice shape as seats have been recovered. Dash, door panels and other trim are original.
Comes with a couple thousand $$$ in parts: including rebuilt rear suspension cylinders (not spheres) from Brad Nauss, boots, distributor, electronic ignition, the original blanking plate for the dash, rear headliner trim and C pillar trim from Holland, valve cover, carburetor, etc etc.
If you're looking for an original ID, this is the one! You will not be disappointed.
