1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra
The work done was impeccable, as evidenced by the quality of the restoration 20 years later, the "King" still wins awards at car shows and cruise nights! The runs strong, tracks great, is a thrill to drive and attracts a crowd whenever we take it out! Rebuilt the motor and transmission about 10 years (5,000 miles) ago. The motor received some mild upgrades including a 500 cfm four barrel carburetor and a shift kit was added to the transmission rebuild to give the Mustang a little more pop during shifts. Most of the front end has been rebuilt during my ownership as well.
While the car looks amazing and never ceases to draw attention wherever it is, it's a 20 year old restoration and the car has been driven, so there's various chips and scratches that have been addressed throughout the years.
