1982 Suzuki GSX1100SXZ Katana

Up for grabs is an extremely rare E27 GSX1100SXZ Katana.
There were only 45 units of E27 Katanas ever built. Twenty were produced for New Zealand and twenty-five were made for the South African market. Australia received the lesser specked E24 model. The limited number of E27,s were just enough to facilitate homologation for production racing circa 1981.

What made the E27 SXZ1100 stand out from the regular katanas were:
Spoked wheels (wire wheels) with an 18 inch rear wheel.
More powerful front brakes.
Mikuni round slide oval bore VM32SS carburettors.
Larger 33mm bore mufflers.
Performance camshafts (possibly manufactured by Yoshimura).
Upgraded clutch.
Chrome-moly round swingarm.

I am the third owner of this very special Katana for the past twenty-seven years.
The mileage is low for the age of the vehicle.
In total, she has done just over 17000 Km (10493 miles).
She is in mint condition, well maintained and recently serviced.

The vehicle is sold with a clean title, original owners manual and toolkit.
