Up for sale is my numbers matching 1975 Triumph TR6 with Overdrive (rare). Finished in Topaz, she stands out where ever she goes. In great condition, the car was completely gone through about four years ago and the clutch, transmission, and overdrive were replaced. Suspension components were updated and or replaced. New carpet and seat covers were also completed. Just over 8000 examples were produced.
The wood dash is perfect and the dash pad has no cracking which is rare. All gauges are in good condition and work as new. The soft top and tonneau cover are like new. The trunk is clean with new carpeting and no rust in wheel well. Custom carpet floor mats and custom trunk mat are new. The car also has an optional padded roll bar. Fitted are stock 15 inch alloy wheels, recently painted factory silver with perfect chrome trim rings, and Union Jack decal. A rare luggage rack and front spoiler came as an attractive option.
A custom Moto Lita, signed steering wheel was installed. Doors close evenly and tight, windows roll up and down with ease. The spirited 2.5 liter straight 6 is dry with easy start up, no smoke, and is very smooth. Engine maintains cool temperatures and strong oil pressure. Exhaust from the straight 6 exits through a Monza dual exhaust with twin outlets each. The sound is absolutely heavenly.
The TR6 is considered the last of the traditional British open sports cars. They give the driver a pure, open-air sports car experience that is unique to the brand. The sound, feel, and handling is something that any enthusiast must experience. For these reasons, the TR6 has become a proven investment in the last five years. The most appealing of the T-series Triumphs, the TR-6 was first brought to market in 1968. Heavily influenced by its predecessor, the new model was extensively restyled by Karmann. Suspension was upgraded and added wider 15” wheels were added that resulted in a leaner look with a lower stance and improved handling. Front disc brakes were a standard feature.
Clean title.
