This bike was acquired 3 years ago and I have done a complete restoration.
The rims and spokes are new, OE style in front and stainless on the rear. New Dunlop tires, tubes and rim protectors.
The frame, swing arm, battery box components, triple tree upper and lower were all powder coated. The frame support has been professionally drilled to lighten and has no cracks. The powder coat was so thick I masked then painted the spot where the frame VIN is located to be able to see it.
The carburetors, engine, gages, and handle bar switch were restored to very high standards.
The engine has new zinc or OE re-plated fasteners throughout. It has electronic points.
I polished the Fork Lowers, engine covers, rear brake drum and sprocket hub.
It has an OE master cylinder and caliper that have been rebuilt.
The paintwork is from Japan via Z-1 Parts and is beautiful.
Most of the reproduction parts are from Z-1 Parts.net or Z1 Enterprises: seat, exhaust, rear shocks, tank and side cover badges, fuel cap and petcock, electronic regulator/rectifier, both fenders, stator and cover, cables, and more small parts.
Anywhere I could find stainless fasteners reasonably I have used it. I have scuffed the 6 & 8 mm bolt heads to look zinc. I’ve found sprocket & wheel locks also rider foot peg clevis and washers in stainless. The rest of the hardware on the bike has been re-plated in zinc or chromed. The rear brake actuation lever and hardware is stainless.
I am not sure of the exact mileage, I have the gages restored and left at what ever miles are on them.
I have just completed the bike and ridden it 2.4 miles to give a quick check for function and any odd noises, none found. That said it should be checked to be sure everything stays tight and set up for your comfort.
Clean title.
