1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI
This is a fabulous original and very clean 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi with the 5-speed manual transmission.
This car has been garaged from the day it was new, has never seen a snowflake, and has been kept out of the rain. It has 51,639 original miles. This car is entirely original except for mechanical wear items. There aren't any modifications, upgrades, replacements or additions to the body, interior or drivetrain, and this car appears to have all or certainly nearly all original paint.
This Conquest has been extremely well treated and maintained. Everything, meaning ALL of the power and convenience options and equipment that came with this car has been checked and tested. Everything is working properly, including all gauges & instrumentation, digital displays, air conditioning, heat, windows, locks, mirrors, etc. The factory radio and steering wheel controls are 100% properly operational, all speakers sound great without any crackling, and the automatic power antenna is also working properly.
This TSi runs and drives beautifully. The 2.6L Turbo engine runs very strong and smoothly without any noises, smoke or other issues. The transmission shifts crisply and the clutch engages smoothly with lots of grab. There aren’t any service or warning lights on. The owner installed a complete set of premium Goodrich G-Force tires which are showing most of their tread. The brake pads are all in excellent condition, and the oil, filters and accessory belts were replaced last week. This car is ready to be picked up and put to use today.
The exterior of this Conquest is very clean and looks terrific. The Dark Red finish is very glossy with only minor imperfections and stone nicks on the front. The alloy wheels are bright and clean, and all exterior trim is intact and in great condition. There aren’t any dents, scratches or body rust on this car, and the undercarriage is in superb condition as well.
The interior has been well maintained and is in terrific condition. There isn't any UV damage on the dash or door panel tops, which instead have maintained their original color and luster without any fading. The seats and carpeting are in very excellent condition with only one wear spot on the left driver side bolster. All of the trim panels and trim pieces are intact and in excellent condition without any cracks or damage. The owner was a non-smoker owned vehicle, and there aren't any burn marks or odors inside this car.
