1952 Vincent Rapide 1000

This is an exceptional 1952 Vincent Rapide 1000 that has light custom treatment with smart usable upgrades. It is fitted with Lighting front brakes and center pull brake cables: accentuated with extended cam arms in the front. It has extended intake manifolds with Amal Concentric carbs. The magneto has been replaced with points and coil, generator replaced with an Alton alternator. All 12 v electronics. It also has the rare 5" 150 mph Smiths chronometric speedometer.
It is a very attractive looking bike that looks like a Black Shadow, has mild upgrades and runs great all with original Vincent frame, headstock, rear swing arm and engine. In fact, frame members were quite interchangeable between Vincent models. Again, the engine is a verified 1952 Rapide 1000 engine.
