5 Speed Manual Transmission - Stock PRV V6 Engine / 16k on Odometer
Rust Free Example
Runs & Drives - 25 Years of Previous Ownership
Clean Title and Older Paperwork Included
Engine Compression is 144-155 PSI in all 6 Cylinders
The stock motor and transmission remain in the car functioning as they should. It currently has a clean Title and older ownership documents.
The stock PRV V6 engine fires right up and idles nicely at 900 rpm's. It accelerates smoothly and gets up to 70 mph with ease. The transmission shifts smoothly through all 5 gears and reverse functions as it should. Every once in a while the engine will fluctuate at idle from 900-1100 rpm's, usually only when cold. Sometimes it does seem to be running rich. The engine and transmission do NOT drip any oil. The compression readings on the engine came back at 145-155 PSI through all 6 cylinders.
Most Recent Work Done within the last few months.
-New Fuel Pump & Filter
-New Clutch Master & Slave Cylinder
-New Spark Plugs, Wires, Rotor and Cap
-Oil and Oil Filter
-Brake Fluid Flushed and Replaced
The stainless steel body on this DMC is very straight with only a few smaller dings and some scratches, please see the photos. The struts on the doors, hood and trunk were all replaced recently. The torsion bar on the drivers door needs to be adjusted or replaced.
The interior on this DMC12 is a solid 8/10. The dash does have a few cracks in it and the passenger seat does a have small 1" circular patch on it. The seats do appear to be original along with the carpet. The passenger floor area does have a few stains.
The undercarriage on this Delorean is really nice, what you won't find are any rust, holes or soft spots. There is an area under the brake master cylinder where brake fluid did dissolve some of the undercarriage paint. Overall condition of the undercarriage is really nice, the frame looks to be in amazing shape. The floor panels are perfect.
The headlights, brakelights, radio, fan, internal lights and door lights all work as they should.
All glass on this DMC12 is stock original with the DMC logo stamped on the bottoms of all the glass. Stock wheels are currently installed, the spare tire, jack and rod are included in the front trunk.
Overall this is a nice surviving DMC12 that will draw a crowd wherever you go.
