1971 Suzuki T500 Titan

There are one owner motorcycles, barn finds, so so restored bikes and then there is this one. It was purchased in 2001 with 11,xxx miles. Ridden until 2005 when the restoration began and continued for the next 10 years and now has 12,xxx miles. During the restoration every nut, bolt, wire, frame, engine, tins, wheels, etc... were rechromed, replaced with Suzuki parts, rebuilt, repainted and whatever else needed to be done to bring this motorcycle to this level. The factory recommended engine upgrade was also added during restoration/engine rebuild to increase the crankcase oil volume from 1200cc to 1400cc to protect 4th and 5th gear from early wear. From factory "S" on the headlight to the factory "SD" on the hand grips, mirrors, kick start rubber and shift lever, nothing was missed.
