1976 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck 350 with AC

1976 C-10 Custom Deluxe. Numbers matching (original) 350 engine, automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. One family owned un-restored survivor. 34,300 original miles. The original owner used this as a delivery truck for there family business for about years between 1976 & 1981. The original owner passed away in 1981. The truck was then put in long term storage in 1981 with about 33,000 miles on it. His wife then kept the truck in storage for decades in till she passed away and willed it to a family member. It then sat again in storage in till I bought The truck. I couldn't believe the original condition of the truck when I first seen it in person. The truck still had bias ply tires when I bought it! The first thing I did was replace the original tires with new modern radial truck tires. The original paint is stunning. The interior is 100% original and still looks like new.
The entire drive train is original. Note the factory chalk markings (86) on the under side of the hood and firewall. The vin number stamped on the frame in the engine bay is clearly visible and can be seen in the picture gallery link above. The glove box factory option sticker lists all of the factory options that are also listed below.
MOTOR/TRANSMISSION/AXLE- The engine and engine bay are immaculate. Numbers matching 350 V-8 and automatic transmission. The motor is 100% original. The truck still retains its original Quadrajet carburetor that has been rebuilt. The truck has been meticulously maintained and periodically during its storage. The Motor runs like a watch. Perfect oil pressure. Does not burn or leak oil. The transmission shifts like new. The truck drives like a Cadillac. The 3.73 rear axle gear ratio is perfect for daily driving or towing. Mechanically the C-10 is in excellent condition and needs nothing.
All the essentials have been gone through on this truck after its prolonged storage including but not limited to the; fuel system, brake system, new master cylinder, new exhaust system, complete tune up, all new fluids, and brand new Hankook tires.
INTERIOR- The interior is 100% original. The interior still looks like new. The seat upholstery is original and shows no wear. There are no rips in the upholstery. The dash, stock rubber floor mat, and door panels, are all in like new condition. The original radio works well. Every light, gauge, and all electrical works. The heating system works good.
PAINT/BODY- This truck has been garaged since new and in storage since 1981. The original paint (Crimson Red) is stunning! All of the glass including the windshield is original with the factory markings. All window rubber is in excellent condition. 100% RUST FREE BODY AND FRAME.
I recently had all five of the wheels (including the spare) refinished to the correct white color. I was tempted to buy chrome hub caps as they look better, however I decided to keep it stock and refinished the original painted dog dish hub caps in the correct white color.
OTHER- Brand new Hankook truck tires. New exhaust system and mufflers. Original owners manual, jack and tools.
