This 1971 Datsun 510 has been modified with the installation of a turbocharged 2.0L SR20DET inline-four, a 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, a roll cage, and Scion FR-S seats. Additional modifications include AEM engine management, Sardo fuel injectors, and an Aeromotive fuel pump. This 510 has been repainted in Audi Nardo Grey.
This sedan’s body has been refinished in 2-stage Audi Nardo Grey, which was applied under current ownership. The trim has also been painted black, and fender flares and a rear spoiler have been added. LED headlamps are fitted.
16? matte bronze 7Twenty wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888 tires sized 245/45 all around. Suspension modification are comprised of CX Racing adjustable coilovers at all four corners, Techno Toy Tuning lower control arms, and Futo Fab adjustable rear camber brackets. The muffler shown in these photos has since been replaced with a quieter unit.
Scion FR-S seats have been added and are fitted with Bridge Moto 4-point harnesses. An Autopower 6-point roll cage and Sparco steering wheel with quick-disconnect hub are installed.
The factory instrumentation has been replaced with AutoMeter Ultra-Lite and AEM gauges. A panel below the dash houses readouts for fuel level, boost pressure, alternator output, oil pressure, and air/fuel ratio. The ignition, fuel pump, and lights are controlled by an ARC switch panel, and a touchscreen stereo is wired to an Alpine amplifier and an 8? tube subwoofer. The digital odometer was reset approximately 800 miles ago, and true mileage is unknown.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, which is fitted with an ACT street clutch and a short shifter. The rear differential was replaced in February 2019. A new clutch slave cylinder and brake master cylinder have also been installed, along with the related lines and hoses. 4-wheel disc brakes feature Wilwood calipers and a hydraulic emergency brake.
A 2.0L SR20DET inline-four replaces the original motor. A dyno report in the gallery shows the engine produced 302 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 272 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 rpm. Additional modifications include:

Front-mounted intercooler
Aeromotive in-tank fuel pump
Braided fuel lines with Earl’s fittings
Upgraded fuel rail
