This is a very rare 1939 GMC AC302 (1.5 ton) truck for sale. This is the first year of the 228 engine with insert bearings and high pressure oil system. It is a meticulously restored (frame off nut and bolt) truck with clean/clear title. Restoration to original specs using new old stock parts and proper replacement parts from reputable commercial parts vendors. Electrical system was converted to 12V for safety, but has 6V starter and gauges. I have all the receipts and documentation to show full restoration, parts, and progress over the long restoration period. Just finished last week and the truck runs great. Truck has real white oak bed, stained dark as original. Exterior color is Apple Green (99-1650 from original GMC color chart) with black fenders. The interior is the GMC Brown/Silver hammered finish on the dash using the period correct GMC paint. Seats and trim are in brown.Transmission has the fully functioning PTO as original. You probably would not have a better truck if you went to the dealer in 1939 and bought it new.
