This 1987 BMW 325is coupe is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car was converted for track use approximately five years ago by TLM Racing of Miami, Florida. Modifications include a roll cage, polycarbonate rear side windows, a window net, and a stripped interior with racing seats and six-point harnesses, as well as H&R lowering springs and shocks, an Ireland Engineering adjustable camber and toe kit, and a fire-suppression system.
The exterior is finished in red with black lower valances; the car was repainted in 2014 by Lander’s Eurocar of Miami, Florida, per an invoice displayed in the photo gallery below. The high-beam headlamps have been removed and replaced with grilles, front and rear tow straps have been installed, and the rear side windows were replaced with Condor polycarbonate units with NACA ducts.
Black-painted 15? wheels are mounted on aftermarket studs and wrapped in 205/50 Hankook Ventus tires showing 2018 date codes. Suspension modifications include H&R lowering springs and shocks, an aftermarket sway-bar kit, an Ireland Engineering adjustable camber/toe kit, camber plates, SBE rear sway-bar bushings, replacement rear shock mounts and tie-rod ends, and more. The braking system has been augmented with a replacement master cylinder, Hawk DTC pads, replacement calipers, Condor cooling plates, and steel braided lines.
Interior upholstery and seating was removed and replaced with a roll cage, a fire-suppression system, a Momo Start driver seat, a Corbeau passenger seat, and Schroth Enduro six-point harnesses. Black lightweight door cards have been installed along with a window net for the driver, and a Long Acre Racing rearview mirror is mounted to the roll cage.
A Driven Motorsport steering wheel fronts factory gauges including a 150-mph speedometer and a six-digit odometer that displays 135k miles, approximately 30 of which have been added by the selling dealer. A SunPro Super Tach III 10k-rpm tachometer with a shift light has been attached to the driver-side A-pillar, and an additional SunPro triple gauge kit is mounted in the center of the dashboard. The seller notes that the factory cluster tachometer is inoperable. A Condor weighted shift knob has been installed, and the car is equipped with an electric cut-off kit and a six-post kill switch.
The M20 2.5-liter inline-six has been modified with solid engine mounts, a K&N air filter, replacement cylinder-head gaskets and bolts, a Behr radiator, and a Gates Racing timing belt that was recently replaced according to the seller. A Whiteline front strut-tower brace also has been installed along with Condor stainless-steel cooling plates & 3? neoprene ducting hoses. The battery has been relocated to the spare wheel compartment in the trunk. The seller reports that the oil and filter were changed and the brake system was flushed with Motul RBF 660 fluid in early 2020.
