1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II and only driven 32,900 original miles. The ivory paint is original as well as the hand painted brown pinstriping. The body is straight and the gaps between the doors, trunk, fenders, and hood are original.
The Silver Shadow was all the time garaged and it has never been driven in poor weather. All of the exterior glass is original and in excellent condition.
The interior is original and shows little to no wear except for some creases in the driver’s seat. There is no stitching coming loose or tears in the leather. The rear seats, carpeting, and headliner are in like new condition. The wood trim shows some age with slight cracking in the varnish, but no chips.
All of the electric windows, seats, A/C controls, and interior lights function normally. The original Blaupunkt radio is present and functions, while below is a newer Alpine AM/FM/CD which was installed by the original owner. The power antenna does try to retract but stops.
Power comes from the original 6.75 L V-8 rated at 197 h.p., uses the factory dual SU carburetors to intake the air and fuel, while the shifting is handled by a GM sourced Turbo 400 3-speed automatic.
The original tool kit and owner’s manuals are included. Clean title.
The Rolls Silver Shadow II is a pleasure to drive and can cruise along at 65 or 70 mph without any issues.
