1978 Jeep Wagoneer/Cherokee 4 Door AMC 401 6.6L Engine 4-door with excellent original details and low 55k original miles and clean title. This is the most sought after years and engines for FSJ Cherokees/Wagoneers because it's the last year with the razor grille/401 engine with original paint. Almost everything is to the original spec except for upgraded EFI system/ added rear disc brakes. It starts up everytime. I added a period correct Pioneer tape player that I had rebuilt with a new belt and to speakers in the doors.
I bought this Jeep 3 years ago from the original owner who kept it in a garage its entire life. I have done a ton of work to it and have and will include all the receipts for all the work that has been done I even have the original manuals and brochures! The exterior paint/chrome is great original condition with some minor imperfections. The red is almost a burnt orange in the sun, a truly perfect complimentary color for being in the woods.The interior is also in great original condition showing similar signs of wear, I swapped in grand wagoneer powered bucket seats for comfort, but I have the original tan bench seat that I will include with truck. Clean title.

Rebuilt Original AMC 401 added Sniper EFI and new intake manifold.
Rebuilt Original Quadatrac Rebuilt Power Steering box
Rebuilt original leaf springs and added a leaf to make the ride-height closer to original.
4 New shocks
Added rear disk brakes and new brake lines for stopping power
Rebuilt front drum brakes
Cleaned and resealed original gas tank
New battery
New starter
New alternator
New washer fluid pump/ Cleaned lines
Rebuilt original radiator and new hoses
New upper and lower ball joints
New drag link
New tierod
New fan clutch
New temperature gauge
Rebuilt front and rear differentials
Added a catalytic converter. Runs clean.
Added a 1970's Rebuilt Pioneer Tape deck and Speakers
