Mechanical And Physical Condition..
A true high boy was only produced up until half way through 1977 and this trucks is one of the last true high boys.One of the most unique things about 1977 was that it is the only year that the half a year produced high boy had a 351M V8 or 400 v8 was offered in the high boy platform. The truck runs and drives great with no smoking or knocking of any kind. It has the original 351M and said to be 70k original miles on the truck and boy does it sure run and drive like a low mileage well maintained truck. Transmission is a NP435 4-speed manual transmission and it shifts crisp, it has no slop at all and goes into and stays in every gear as it should. Also the clutch feels great and operates as it should. Four wheel drive works excellent and as the high boys are designed, it will go anywhere. What enables this highboy to go anywhere is the NP 205 transfer case and a big knuckle disk brake front axle along with some Brand New Maxxis Bighorn M/T tires that handle great ON and OFF-ROAD.
Cosmetically the truck wears its original Dark Nectarine Metallic and Indio Tan Paint that as seen in pictures has a nice shine.
Interior is in nice clean condition with a reupholstered seat and new carpet kit installed to help it keep that clean comfortable feel. The dash has no cracks and all gauges and lights work along with all glass in great condition.
