1968 Lincoln Continental with Suicide Doors!
I bought this car from its original owner in 1999. It was white when I got it and it’s been a long restoration project. Since then it’s had new exhaust with glass packs (which sound amazing), a completely new top, new weather stripping around the trunk, new transmission, new tires, new interior with original Lincoln logos, new battery, new window sweeps, new hydraulic windshield wiper pump, new water pump, new fuel pump, new brakes and rotors, the body and quarter panels smoothed, sanded, and painted with a year 2000 Mercedes Benz Obsidian Black Metallic.
The original owner had a CD player installed but I upgraded to a better one with a hand held remote and added an amp and two 6x9 speakers and two 12” subs in the trunk. Runs and drives great. All these things done in the time span I’ve owned it. It has a beautiful 8 Cylinder 462ci engine. Which was the nicest part of the car when I got it. With a 4-barrel carburetor on top, which is attached to a 3-speed transmission.
