1967 Mercury Cougar Automatic 289 V8

Selling this gorgeous 67 Mercury Cougar. this has undergone a recent restoration with the exception of the paint finish which is probably 20-30 years old but is in great condition. C code 289 V8 and C4 automatic. Power steering, Decor group interior with console. Inside you will find a brand new dash and new seat covers front and rear. Console restored with new parts. New window cranks and inside door handles. Nice original headliner, original carpet in fantastic shape which makes me think this car is 58,000 miles. Door panels nice. Under the hood. Detailed to the max. The following is new. Valve seals, water pump, battery, rebuilt carb and more. All new brakes with metallic linings and new wheel cylinders. New rear leaf springs. Outside a brand new correct vinyl roof, new rocker panel moldings, new trunk lock emblem, new back up lamps and more. Inside the trunk solid and nice. Nice mat, cardboards like new. Under carriage original, clean and nice. The floors are unbelievably clean. This car has every original body panel. As I said before the paint finish is older and has held up nicely. A great shine. Very straight, all panel gaps nice. The paint does have some cracking here and there and may be thin in a couple of spots. Believe me, this car was way to nice to consider painting it. It runs and drives 100%. Every thing works including the gas guage, the sequential turn signals and the hidden headlamps work great.
