This car is believed to be an original car. The Original AMC project directed by Hurst Performance Research Inc., followed the simplest hot-rod canon: Stuff in the biggest available V-8. In AMC's case, that was the AMX's 315-hp 390-cid four barrel. It has been professionally restored by Rambler Scrambler Guru Gordy Chilson from Pennsylvania. It is 1 of 1,512 ever made. Only about 1,200 Scramblers went with the broad red body sides, wild hood graphics, and a fat blue dorsal stripe. It is believed that less than 600 of these currently exist today. Complete with the most desirable "A" paint scheme and 602 Tach. No short cuts have been taken for this impeccable frame off restoration. This paint job has been wet sanded and rubbed to a near flawless finish.
