1995 Volvo 960 Wagon
It has only 95,000 original miles. It was one of the last years Volvos were manufactured in Sweden before they cheapened production in 1997. These cars were built so well in Sweden. Many of them can go to 400k miles or more.
It’s in fantastic mechanical condition.
Stylistically it's a classic look that makes people think of the days when cars actually looked good and were made to last a long time. People always ask about it whenever I'm parked somewhere, perhaps because it reminds people of a simpler time before planned obselescence. Most recently a man told me to absolutely never sell it. He’s probably right!
Lot's of new work done to the car:
- Automatic transmission in great shape
- Very recent new front and rear brakes and rotors
- Pristine engine with low miles
- New suspension this year
- 4 new Michelin Defender long life tires this year. should last 5 more years
- 3k oil changes religiously
- Smogged in 2018, good for another year I believe
- All done within last 5 years:
- new water pump
- timing belt
- radiator fan
- new hoses everywhere
- new gaskets
- ball joints
- belt pulley
- drive pulley
- steering rack
- sway bar links
- front and rear struts
- lower control arms
- Bluetooth smartphone connection is hidden and interfaces with the original upgraded option sound system from JBL and sounds awesome! You can take calls too with the mic
- Power windows. They all work fine.
- Remote power locks - 2x fobs
- Working A/C (This is rare for this old of a car) but it's been fine for me in Los Angeles and just serviced
- The back seats fold down 100% flat, which I've used for a great sleeping area on road trips, as a man over 6 feet tall it's the only wagon I've been able to fully stretch out in.
- Clean title.
