1979 Honda CBX 1000 Original Low Miles

This Original owner 1979 Honda CBX with 11306 original miles was purchased new on August 26, 1978 in Indiana. The owner has now passed away. This bike was part of a collection of Honda's that he kept in a temperature controlled garage. None of these bikes were driven on a daily basis. The Gentleman walked to work even in blizzards. This bike as well as the other Honda's were his babies. Each year they were put away in the fall (September dates) then brought out in the spring. Oil was changed, maintenance preformed, and driven sparingly for the summer season. Each has a handwritten maintenance log documenting each time it was driven, how many miles, and each service item that was attended to. The Maintenance was done on time, not miles. The records are handwritten, and come with the car along with all the books, records, and original purchase documents This is a beautiful example of an CBX that has never been laid down, has absolutely no rust, and never has had any paint work. Please note the pic showing the seat tail- the spots are reflection not scratches. The paint on the bike is excellent.
