1953 Ford Victoria Crestline Automatic Hard Top

This '53 Ford Victoria was part of Fords lineup for it's 50th anniversary as noted in the emblem on the horn button. This car has been through and complete restoration, everything has been either rebuilt or replaced, nothing has been overlooked. Finished in the correct factory colors of Sungate Ivory and Black with complementing green interior. The interior has all been replaced with the exception of the doors panels, these are still original and in amazing condition. This goes to show how nice the car was before being restored. All original options are still intact and working with the exception of the clock (non-functioning) and the radio (comes on and hums).
This car has been restored for over 10+ years. Always maintained and in running condition. Very few miles have actually been put on the car during this time. The underneath looks as good as the top, very highly detailed everywhere. the attention to detail is obvious as you look around this car. It also drives as well as it looks. Starts right up, idles smooth, does not smoke, etc.
All of the glass still has the ford logo intact, don't know if it is original or new replacement, but is in flawless condition.
The paint overall I would rate as a 9+, it is not a base coat/clear coat paint, but an original type single stage paint that looks very close to a factory original finish. The chrome and stainless trim are exceptional nice, I cannot find a flaw in any of it. the Firestone tires still look almost new. Even the trunk is highly detailed including the matching spare tire, rim and restored jack assembly. To make this more reliable an electric fuel pump has been installed as a back up. This can assist in starting after sitting for a period of time or as an extra measure against vapor lock. Another thing on this car that is not stock is the dual exhaust system, it has a very nice sound, not real loud, just right. The suspension has been lowered approximately 1.5", this could be reversed without much trouble if you don't like the look. I could go on and on about this car but I think you get the picture.
This car is not perfect, but you would be hard pressed to find a better one in this price range.
