1967 Volkswagen Notchback

Restored show quality 1967 Notchback 1600L . (Only 200 miles)
This is a very rare 1967 Granada Red Notchback that came stock with 1600 dual port heads and dual Solex carburetors. 1967 was the last year of carburetors with fuel injection beginning in 1968. The engine starts easily, idles great, and has a lot of power both accelerating and cruising down the road. The engine compression is excellent ranging from 120 -128 psi. after the valves were adjusted. The end play was checked and reset to factory specifications. It shifts great and with the rebuilt brake system (including stock front disc) has a lot of stopping power also.This beautiful Notch has been completely restored via a pan off project over the past year. We usually restore one or two VW's each year and this is the latest and perhaps the best. It is a show quality restoration and attention was taken to be a stock vehicle in every detail. It is pictured with aftermarket 8 spoke Empi wheels, but the original rims and beauty rings are available if preferred. This very detailed restoration contains the following features:
