1966 BMW R-Series R60/2 Twin

This exquisite 1966 BMW R60/2 twin has had a complete and comprehensive nut and bolt restoration by Benchmark Works. This example is finished in Dover white and features the large 6 gallon Schorsch Meier sport tank, the factory optional luggage rack, deep extra capacity oil pan, turn signals and twin Denfeld seats. The rear seat can be removed if you prefer that look. The bike has been converted to 12 volts for easier starting, brighter lights and better electrics. The odometer is showing 31,882 miles which is believed to be correct.
The following details some of the work that was done during the restoration which occurred when the bike had about 25,000 miles on it.
