1953 Chevrolet 3100 Short Box New 502 Crate Engine

1953 Chevy 3100 short box 4x4 with a brand new Chevy 502 crate engine.Rated at about 550 HP ..Engine was just installed 2 months ago by a GM dealer.24 month warranty on engine...
This is the story on this truck.The truck only had about 8000 miles on it from the time it was painted and turned into a 4x4..I bought it to do a quick flip but that idea went south when I found out the engine in it had bad cam..So then I went all out and had a brand new 502 crate engine installed.It had a brand new serpentine belt drive kit installed.Brand new 850 holley.
Anything to do with the engine is brand new.350 auto transmission..Brand new Dick Cepek 20 inch tires and brand new custom wheels.Only a couple hundred miles on the everything Ive done to the truck..I just installed brand new interior.New seats,door panels..All new carpet..All gauges look new and all function properly..All lights work as should.It has power steering and power brakes and tilt steering wheel.The new seats do recline.Stainless steel shorty headers.Flowmaster mufflers.It runs down the road nice.I had it up to a 100mph but lot of throttle to go yet.I think the gears are factory ratio but of course has the low range in 4x4 if you need it.The color is like a candy burnt orange.When the sun hits it you can see it from a mile away...Ive got a lot of complements on how pretty the color is.The paint job is very respectable but being it has about 8000 miles in it .
Body does NOT have any rust or bubbles in the paint.The inside of the box and back side of the cab above the box have some tiny dings that were never fixed when painted.These are dings acquired from usage in the last 65 years.The outside the truck has a nice driver paint job..SHINES very nice and overall pretty straight old truck.Just not a paint job that will get trophies for perfection.
No mechanical issues..Yes it has a brand new GM 502 crate engine with a 2 year warranty and brand new interior..Just get in and have FUN....
