1972 DeTomaso Pantera 351ci Cleveland V8 Original

The 351ci Cleveland V8 underwent a full rebuild and was externally balanced in 2009 to bring the engine to compression standards before changes that were made for the 1972 model year. Among the components used in the rebuild were Probe SRS Forged Aluminum Flat Top .030 overbore racing pistons, Eagle Forged Steel CRS-5780F3D H-Beam connecting rods, Edelbrock 61629 Performer RPM cylinder heads, and Clevite rod and main bearings. The camshaft and head components were upgraded to racing specifications and included a Competition Cams Magnum hydraulic flat tapper camshaft, roller rocker arms, valve lifters, and valve springs. The ZF 5-speed manual transaxle was also rebuilt in 2009. Other parts installed during the overhaul included:
