Volkswagen custom Manx style dune buggy.
Titled as a 1956. Has a 1600 dp motor, not sure what year the motor is.
Blinkers, headlights, and horn all work. Brakes have a separate switch for them to come on, it needs to have a switch put directly on the brake pedal.
Speedometer needs some work, as you can see it reads 15 mph when it's parked, and it reads slow when driving.
May just be a sticky cable, not sure. Has wheel adapters. I did not build this vehicle, so all I can tell you is what I see.
It starts, runs, and drives ok, street legal, I've driven it to work a few times.
It is hard to start if you shut it off and try to start it back up within just a few minutes (floods).
Probably could use a tune up. Does drip some oil. It is stored in the garage when not being driven.
Does drive, and we still take it out on occassion, but it is an older car so until you are familiar with it and go thru it, trailering would be best.
