Up for sale is my well-cared for turn-key 1997 Land Rover Discovery. This has been a Utah Rover since day 1, spending most of its life garaged in Utah.
V8 engine pulls strong and hard, tranny shifts smooth and well. Premium fuel always used. Solid frame and body, 95% rust free. Rare vibrant cayenne red paint. Towing package. 7 seater, jump seat in back. (Missing one.) Automatic locks, front windows, dual power and heated front seats, (heat is weak) dual sunroofs, (both work flawlessly and DO NOT leak) safari windows, ABS braking system, and more....
This has been a great SUV! Only selling because I no longer need a vehicle with a V8, and will be driving a Subaru this winter.
$2300 in recent maintenance, brand new OEM CPU, OEM fuel pump, radiator hoses, newer BFGoodrich tires with good tread left. Timing belt, water pump, head gaskets are in good shape and will not need attention for a while. No issues of overheating, I drove it all summer. 80mph on the highway with the AC blasting, no problem. This Disco has never left me stranded. 3 owner Rover including me. Brother had it before me. I just registered it in July, and it passed Utah state Safety and Emissions testing perfectly. Recent oil change. Fresh wash and detail.
Needs Attention/Minor Issues: Brakes need to be bled. They are pretty squishy. (Brake pads and rotors are in great shape.) Paint is peeling on the roof and hood. Please see pictures. Put in a new radio head unit and it stopped working today, not sure what's wrong with it. I have 3 sets of keys, but not a set for the locking gas cap. It is loose and swings open freely. Clock does not work. Some small rust spots in rear door wells. (Can send pics) Front headlight is zip-tied on on one side. (Plastic clips broke)

Starts, runs and drives great! Handles freeway speeds easily. No dash lights are on. AC blows ice cold, heater works awesome. Power locks, windows, sunroofs ALL work. Does not leak or burn any oil that I have noticed. 4x4 system and center locking differential work amazing.
