The Pacer for 1960 at 16 ft is among the rarest of the vintage trailer world. Often confused with the Bambi. The Pacer was actually the forerunner to the Bambi. It is distinguished by it's heavy box tube frame and larger 15" tires, wheels and brakes.
Whether towing or camping, the Pacer is sure to garner attention and this original example is no exception.
From it's polished exterior to it's wide whitewall radial tires. It is a blast to own and a pleasure to share with others.
Inside the interior remains original and impeccably clean. The floor plan is the more desirable full time corner bed with the separate dining that converts to sleeping if needed. The appliances, cabinetry and sink are in amazing condition
.
This model came with a porcelain toilet only, no shower.
Outside The polished skin and new polished tanks push this micro Airstream over the top.
Features include:
All new custom made awnings.
Trailer weight 1700 lbs, Tongue weight 180 lbs, with full tanks.
New Carlisle 15" trailer radial tires.
New rear bumper mounted spare.
Polished stainless steel hub caps.
Urethane coated wheels.
Large Kelsey Hayes brakes.
New polished aluminum tanks.
New tank base tray.
New regulator.
New flexible gas lines.
New heavy duty safety chains.
New 7 wire harness upgrade.
Clear title.
We took the trailer to an authorized service center to have the systems checked. The stove works. The furnace works. The water system has no leaks and is functional. Appears that the original Dometic refrigerator would have to be serviced.
Exterior and interior lighting work.
Trailer brakes will skid the tires if necessary.
Everything looks nice, this trailer has been stored inside for at least the last 13 years.
All props are included with the trailer. Picket fence, flower baskets, flamingos, 2 fold-away chairs..
(The only prop I'm keeping is the stainless canister set it belonged to my mom.)
