This is simply a good, straight, early, XK 120 roadster with some nickel / dime issues that someone with minimal skill can easily sort out.
This XK120 was stored immediately, after being completely serviced along with rebuilt carburetors, a new wire harness, brake system overhaul, suspension work, new fuel tank, a complete new interior, top and boot kit. (I believe the interior was originally red from the factory) and many other new parts.
Except for me not cleaning this up a bit, there are some areas needing attention.
She had an earlier repaint (I believe originally black) with some runs, chips and other blemishes. The doors need adjustment. A couple of grill vanes are loose. Incorrect exhaust. No wheel jack or tools. Some incorrect screws, clamps, etc.. A mouse was in the trunk / boot and messed up the newer material.
She hasn't had much exercise in the last five or six years, she's been sitting in the garage. I started this 120 Jaguar a little while ago from my jump box, it took 20 seconds before she fired up on the old fuel. (one 12 volt battery in this car, the double battery box is in beautiful condition) The engine was quiet, she coughed a bit when I hit the accelerator, but she has good oil pressure with no bad engine noises.
