This is a running & driving all original 1960 chevrolet parkwood six passenger wagon. I will start by listing all things that are original to car.
All sheet metal including floor pans
All paint on the entire car.
All interior seats, door panels, headlinner, floor covering,dash
All glass including ft. Windsheild. Drivers vent glass cracked
All chrome including both bumpers
All stainless and aluminum, trim and ft. Grill
All drive train motor , transmission, rear end
Things that are not or have been changed are
Wheels,and tires,shocks
Exhaust
Battery
Wiper blades
Chevy emblem in grill repo
Eyebrows on ft fenders repro
Ignition switch nos
Aluminum trim on drivers side quarter nos
Horseshoe trim around tail light left side nos.
The hood was repaint at one time . I sanded it back to original paint.
The white insert on tail gate was repainted at some time.
There are a few spots that were blended in on left doors( small)
The only rust I have found is in middle of tail gate bottom. See pics.
The rear glass goes up and down fine, tail gate opens and shuts fine.
The ft. Seat cover is in bad shape and so is floor mat
The headlinner has come apart in two seams but not torn.
Dash and steering wheel are original and are nice.
This is a radio delete car has never had radio or antenna.
The motor is a blue flame 235 six with a 2 speed power glide transmission.As best I can tell the motor has never been apart or out of car. Same with transmission.
Car still has factory markings on firewall, transmission pan, and bell housing
Can read all numbers on motor and transmission all built in week of may 8th 1960.
This is a very nice solid car that has never been molested. The underneath of car was undercoated years ago but is nice and solid never any repairs done. Frame is nice and clean still has all of its original springs and sway bars. Rocker panel are solid and nice. This car does have power steering and works great
This is a great example of a bat wing car that is still has it came. The best selling name plate in the us. From 1960 to 1970 the chevy impala.
