It is wearing a rare two tone color combination of Ruby Red and Black strips. Interior black leather is in pristine condition and dash board is mint and scratch free. I tried to take photos by which I could describe the originality of this Jeep to the best of my ability. Still seeing the car in person is the only way to realize the amount of time been spent on this car.
This extraordinary Jeep has remained is California all its life. I decided to undertake the restoration of this jeep because it was rust free to begin with. moreover, It will be my genuine pleasure to see this truck on the road just a bit longer. I tried to give it a show car status while maintaining its capability as a daily driver. the result of all my time and efforts is this beautiful Ruby Red Jeep which I am confident enough to drive it across the United States. Following is a summary of what has been done to this Jeep after I took over from the first owner:
- Complete body paint (Glass and Moldings off) to the original factory color.
- Replacing carpet and Headliner with the original materials.
- New breaks and Lines.
- Upgrading to a new carburetor.
- New fuel Pump.
- Rebuilt engine. (Power-train is practically new)
- Replace all Shocks and old bushings.
- 4 new 32 inch mud tires.
- replace the tired suspension and add a 2 inch lift while at it.
